Caring for the Gift of Creation
Our most basic question is: “Why did God make me?” Happily, the Bible offers us at least two answers which we will use to fashion our other stories and to understand our role as stewards in caring for all of God’s creation.
Join Sr. Carol Perry and storytellers Lorraine Hartin-Gelardi and Karen Pillsworth as they explore this and other questions through biblical scholarship, traditional tales, and poetry.
The two-part Zoom session will be presented on Jan. 12th and 19th from 7-8:30 PM. The evening will begin at 6:45 PM with a technology orientation and welcome by Linwood's director Terence McCorry then Sr. Carol will lead us into each evening with an examination of a creation story from the Book of Genesis. Storytellers Karen and Lorraine will follow with stories and poems that expand the topic of creation and stewardship.
